The purpose of this program is to introduce the lighting practitioner to several methods of analysis for lighting system illuminance calculations, and the strength and limitations of each method.
- Identify the components of the retina that impact both the visual system and the circadian system
- Discuss the input systems, master pacemaker and output systems of the circadian organization
- Understand how lighting affects the visual system as well as the circadian, neuroendocrine and neurobehavioral systems and the differences between these systems
- Identify references that provide additional information and know where to look for additional research results
