Product Description
Lighting practitioners have found it difficult to obtain accurate optical and electrical characteristics of AC-LEDs at realistic elevated-temperature operating conditions. This document describes the procedures to be followed and precautions to be observed in performing optical and electrical measurements of AC-LEDs for total luminous flux, total radiant flux, total photon flux, color characteristics, electrical voltage, current, and power. This Approved Method applies to AC-LED packages, remote-phosphor AC-LED packages, AC-LED arrays or modules, and remote-phosphor AC-LED arrays or modules. This document specifies measurement methods under single-cycle AC operation as well as continuous AC operation with an AC frequency of 50 Hz or 60 Hz.
